Teaching Practice

The Herschel Medical Centre is a teaching practice.

Doctors in Training

• Registrars (in final year of GP training).
• Foundation Training Doctors. (Limited experience hospital doctors experiencing General Practice.)

The practice works in conjunction with the Oxford Deanery. With the supervision of the Doctor, a registrar or foundation doctor will see you on a 1.1 consultation. To ensure the trainee has plenty of time to consult with you, often your appointment may be up to 30 minutes in duration. Should the trainee need assistance or advice during the consultation a Doctor may attend during your consultation offering support.
