Routine childhood immunisations:
Immunisation is a way of protecting your child against serious
disease. Once children have been immunised, their bodies can
fight the diseases if they come into contact with them.
The schedule starts at 2 months:
Please
click here for the Routine Childhood Immunisation Schedule
to know when to have your child immunised.
Please call the surgery to make an appointment for your baby’s
immunisations.
Our baby clinics are held every Thursday afternoon at the
surgery with the Practice Nurse. There is also a Nurse
Practitioner available if you have any concerns about your
baby’s or your own health.
Please remember to bring the red book to the baby clinic so that
we can keep your baby’s record up to date. If you have recently
registered with the surgery from abroad, please bring any
previous immunisation documents with you.
If your baby is unwell, with a temperature of 38c or higher,
please postpone your appointment until he/she is fully
recovered.
